Nokian Tyres concluded personnel negotiations in Finland

Nokian Tyres has concluded the personnel negotiations in Finland. The negotiations involved white-collar employees in Group functions and all business units, as well as both blue- and white-collar employees in passenger car and heavy tire production in Nokia, Finland.

The negotiations will lead to termination of 35 permanent white-collar positions. In addition, restructuring of tasks will take place. The measures will be implemented by the end of 2025. At the beginning of the negotiations, the number of possible permanent layoffs in Finland was estimated to be 55.

The adjustment measures also include temporary layoffs of approximately 650 blue-collar and white-collar employees in passenger car and heavy tire production in Nokia, Finland for a maximum period of 90 days per person by the end of 2026.

The negotiations in Finland were part of an entity aimed to improve financial performance and operational efficiency, which the company announced on October 28, 2025. Negotiations or other necessary processes have been carried out in other countries in accordance with local legislation. Measures in other countries will continue as necessary.
