Arctic Grip Challenge

Held beyond the Arctic Circle at the Northernmost test center in the world, the Ultimate Winter Face-off features unusually demanding tests to determine true winter champions.

Braving some of the most challenging conditions in the world, Nokian Tyres challenged another team of world-class winter experts to compete for the prestigious title. When put to the test, who would come out as the true Champion of Winter?

As the northernmost tire manufacturer in the world our winter tire testing center is legendary. The Ivalo Test Center, located some 300 kilometres above the Arctic Circle in Finnish Lapland, is where we test our winter, all-season and all-weather tires. With more than 200 days of freezing temperatures in a year, the test center has really earned its tough reputation, and the world’s largest and most diverse winter testing environment has been built to test the tires in extreme conditions.
